1Overview

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies the Rowi website (getrowi.app) uses. The short version: besides the technical storage the site needs to work, and only if you accept them, the website uses analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Hotjar) through Google Tag Manager.

2What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that lets a website remember information in your browser. Both can be essential (needed for the site to work) or non-essential (analytics, advertising, personalization).

3Essential Technologies (always active)

• Language preference: a cookie that remembers whether you chose English or Spanish, so the site opens in your language next time.
• Cookie choices: a cookie that remembers whether you accepted or rejected the non-essential tools, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
• Hosting and security: technical data processed by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, such as your IP address and browser type, kept only in server logs for a limited time.

These essential technologies do not identify you personally and are not shared with advertisers.

4Analytics and Advertising Tools (only with your consent)

When you accept them in the cookie banner, the website loads these third-party tools through Google Tag Manager (Google LLC), a tool that only manages when the others are loaded:

• Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC): measures visits, pages viewed, time on the site and approximate country, so we can improve the website.
• Google Ads (Google LLC): measures whether our Google ads bring visits or app downloads, and lets us show Rowi ads to people who visited the site.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.): measures whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work, and lets us show Rowi ads to people who visited the site.
• Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd.): records clicks, scrolling and mouse movements (heatmaps and session recordings) to understand how the site is used. It does not record what you type in forms.

These providers may set their own cookies, receive your IP address and browser data, and process them on their servers, including outside your country, under their own privacy policies. We do not send them your name, email or anything from your Rowi account. You can accept, reject or change your choice at any time from the cookie banner or the cookie preferences link on the site.

5The Rowi Mobile App

The tools in section 4 are used only on the website. The Rowi mobile app does not use cookies. It stores a session token and your preferences on your device so you stay signed in. It contains no advertising or analytics SDKs. How the app handles personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at https://getrowi.app/privacy-policy.

6Managing Cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking the language cookie only means the site will not remember your language choice. Rejecting the analytics and advertising tools does not affect how the site works. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out tool (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and your Facebook ad settings.

7Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy if the website changes. The current version is always available at https://getrowi.app/cookies with its effective date.
