1Purpose

This Account and Data Deletion Policy explains how users may request deletion of their Rowi account and associated personal data. This policy applies to the Rowi mobile app, website, and related services operated by POSITIVE COMMUNICATIONS LLC.

This page is intended to serve as the public web resource for account and data deletion requests and should be linked in Google Play Console and from the Rowi website footer.

2Who Can Request Deletion

A Rowi user may request deletion of the account linked to the user email address. We may need to verify the requester identity before completing the deletion request.

3How to Delete Your Account in the App

Users can initiate account deletion inside the Rowi app by following this path:

  1. Open the Rowi app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Review the deletion notice.
  6. Confirm deletion.

4How to Request Deletion on the Web

Users can request deletion through the public web page at https://getrowi.app/delete-account. The web page should include a form that allows users to submit the email address linked to their Rowi account and an optional reason for deletion.

Users may also contact support@getrowi.app with the subject line "Delete my Rowi account."

5Recommended Web Form Fields

The deletion request form should include:

  • Email address linked to the Rowi account.
  • Optional reason for deletion.
  • Confirmation checkbox acknowledging that deletion may be permanent.
  • Submit button labeled "Request account deletion" or similar.

6What We Delete

When a verified deletion request is completed, Rowi will delete or de-identify personal data associated with the account, which may include:

  • Account profile information such as name, email, phone number, and login identifiers.
  • User-provided profile data, such as age, height, weight, preferences, photos, goals, tasks, routines, notes, and productivity inputs.
  • Associated app data linked to the account, subject to technical and legal limitations.
  • Support data and communications where deletion is legally and technically permitted.

7What We May Retain

We may retain certain information where necessary or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, audit, dispute resolution, backup, compliance, or legitimate business purposes. Retained data will be limited to what is necessary for those purposes and handled according to the Rowi Privacy Policy.

Examples may include security logs, records needed to enforce our Terms of Use, records required by law, and backup copies that are deleted according to backup retention cycles.

8Timeline

We will process verified deletion requests within a commercially reasonable period and within any timeframe required by applicable law. Some deletion from backups or logs may take additional time due to technical retention cycles.

9Deleting the App Does Not Delete the Account

Uninstalling the Rowi app from a device does not automatically delete the Rowi account or associated data. Users must use the in-app deletion flow or the web deletion request process to request account and data deletion.

10Effect of Deletion

After account deletion, the user may lose access to the Rowi account, saved tasks, goals, profile data, photos, personalization, history, and other account information. Deleted accounts may not be recoverable.
